Note: Transfer to Montecatini Terme by train (price
per person about € 5,-). Transport to Montecatini by mini bus
after the tour (price per person € 15,- incl. cycle, payable
at destination, reservation necessary).
Tour Details:
Day 1: Individual arrival at Montecatini Terme
By car or train to Florence and on to Montecatini Terme, tour information
and handing over of the bikes.
Day 2: Vinci approx. 55 km
By bicycle on small paths through olive groves of Montecatini Terme
to Vinci, birth place of Leonardo Da Vinci. Overnight in Montecatini
Terme.
Day 3: Montecatini Terme – Pisa approx. 50 km
By train to Lucca, city tour by bicycle, and to the lake of Massacciuccoli
(also known as Lake of Giacomo Puccini) and on to Pisa.
Day 4: Pisa – Casciana Terme approx. 40 km
From Pisa along the river Arno and then on lonesome paths to the
idyllic spring town Casciana Terme.
Day 5: Casciana Terme – San Gimignano approx. 55
km
By bicycle through vineyards and soft hills to San Gimignano. Every
noble family owned here in former times their own tower –
these towers of the houses now coin the place.
Day 6: San Gimignano – Siena approx. 45 km
Today’s bike tour goes through Tuscany’s wonderful landscape
to the architectonic paradise Siena.
Day 7: Siena – Florence approx. 50 km
Through the hilly Chianti-region, where the “Chianti Classico”
comes from, to Greve. Bus transfer to Florence.
Day 8: Florence/Departure
Individual departure or extension of your stay.
