the Transylvanian Alps, hike and rock climb in Piatra Craiului National
Park and you will horseback ride in the rolling hills of Transylvania.

Tour Details:
Day 1: Arrive and transfer to hotel
Private transfer to Brasov (about 3 hours by car or 35 mins by heli).
Free time to explore the town of Brasov overnight at your 5* hotel
Aro Palace.
Day 2: Piatra Craiului National Park - hike and rockclimb
Short transfer to the edge of the Piatra Craiului National Park.
Optional visit to Bran Castle – well known as Dracula’s
Castle. Start hiking over the magnificent flower meadows through
mountain villages. Lunch at a farm house. Continue a short stretch
hiking and by horse and cart to the cliffs/rocks where, for a couple
of hours, you can practice or just learn to rock climb together
with specialized instructors. Outdoor grill dinner. Late evening
return to hotel in Brasov for overnight.
Day 3: Coasting down the Transylvanian Alps – Cycling
Morning bus transfer to the very heart of the Transylvanian Alps,
the winding road will take us to ~2035 meters altitude. We will
go for a short hike around the glacial lake and after lunch we start
our descent on bikes or coasting down the paved road for more than
30km. Afternoon return to hotel in Brasov. Optional: the morning
transfer can be done by helicopter up to the highest point, for
quicker access – weather permitting (price on request).
Day 4: Horseback riding day
Enjoy a very different experience from the height of a horse. If
you are an experienced rider or only a beginner, the specialized
instructor will take you on the appropriate trails over the hills
and through the forests, trotting or cantering over the meadows.
For beginners you will have the first experience on a very easy
going and steady horse. Some riding tips from the instructor will
make your pace/riding more comfortable. Stop for a picnic on the
way. Return to the stables for a refreshing drink before we head
back to Brasov for a nice afternoon in the medieval town, walking
in the old city center.
Day 5: Transfer to Bucharest or your extension
Morning transfer to Bucharest. If time allows enjoy a city tour
of Bucharest, visit Dracula’s Princely Court or visit the
most impressive building in Bucharest, the second largest administrative
building in the world after The Pentagon (available for people using
afternoon flights). Individual or group transfer to airport or extension.
